What a great idea to give away an actual prop from the movie. And just not one prop, but two! I also saw that you gave away two Captain America busts from Gentle Giant. WOW! I think Linda was especially deserving of the prize.

I think the Profiles in History presentation of the whole event was outstanding. The C2E2 display was interactive and the Profiles personnel were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I was able to easily identify the Profiles personnel in the booth.

The auction went smoothly. The auctioneer, Stacey, kept things interesting and was very entertaining. I also liked the auctioneer used a themed gavel (a gavel sized Thor hammer was used to “hammer” the closing of an auction lot) and the skit between Fong Sam and Stacey the auctioneer introducing the “Thor gavel” was hilarious!

Other little touches that added to the event was the themed signage in the two show floor booths and the fact the booth was located at the main entrance of C2E2! I also liked the girls earrings and the guys had pins that were Captain America themed.

Thank you Profiles in History and Marvel for making this event in Chicago memorable for me. I hope to see you again!

Do you know or can you find out where they got their gavel sized Thor hammer? I have been looking online, but can’t seem to find one anywhere.
